“My physical therapy after shoulder surgery at Encore PT went smoothly, progressing from focus on range of motion and flexibility to strengthening when the repairs were suitably healed.”

What we treat
Pathways to Care
Our therapists don't chase symptoms; they use them to identify the underlying concern. We teach you what's happening in your body, then build a plan tailored to the outcome you want. Our goal is to help you get back to living — whether that's on the court, the trail, the job, the concert hall, or the floor to play with the kids.

Rehabilitation
Back and neck, hip and knee, foot and ankle, shoulder, balance and gait, arthritis, neurological conditions, pre- and post-surgical recovery, plus motor vehicle and on-the-job injuries. Start with a thorough evaluation, then work a plan that helps you rebuild your best self.

Sports Medicine
Sports injury rehab, conditioning, and return-to-sport regimens for athletes into strength training and CrossFit, hiking and backpacking, swimming and triathlon, skiing and snowboarding, tennis and pickleball, running, golf, cycling, and more. Built for seasoned athletes and beginners alike who intend to still be moving well at 80.

Musical Instrument Rehabilitation
Repetitive strain, posture problems, TMJ, neck and shoulder pain, and finger and hand injuries can stop the music for people who play. Chris earned a Bachelor of Music in Cello Performance before switching to physical therapy, so he knows first-hand how the demands of the practice room show up in the body.
Patient experience
What Happens at Physical Therapy
Your first visit is an evaluation with a physical therapist who will talk through your concern and complete a physical assessment to understand your situation. Our hope is that you leave understanding your own body better than when you walked in, and better prepared for what comes next.
Thorough evaluation
We talk through your concern, then assess how your body is actually moving.
Plain-language explanation
You hear what's driving your symptoms, without the jargon.
Goals set with you
The care plan gets built around the outcome you're after.

The Encore Difference
Deep Experience. Personalized Care.
Building a relationship with your therapist reinforces the trust and collaboration that lead to better outcomes, so you see the same licensed physical therapist from your first evaluation through your last visit. Treatment leans on hands-on manual therapy, drawing on techniques from Maitland, McKenzie, Kaltenborn and Mulligan, with strain counterstrain and muscle energy paired with prescribed exercise you'll do both in the clinic and at home. Modalities like heat, cold and ultrasound are used when they help reduce pain and calm inflammation, not by default.
One-on-one evaluation
with a licensed PT, not handed off to an aide.
Continuity of care
the same therapist through your plan.
Manual therapy first
hands-on assessment and treatment, plus exercise you'll actually do.
Plans that adapt
as symptoms ease and strength improves, your plan changes with you.

What patients say
Nearly 200 five-star reviews and counting
Every one of them was written by someone we treated, and we're honored to have helped each of those people reach a health goal.
“They assessed it was actually a back problem. After just one exercise, that was corroborated, despite two other PTs simply working on leg strength and hip exercises to address it.”
“Staff is extremely thorough, mindful, and meets all expectations of service. Chris and Aaron are so great, I’m always happy to be working with them.”
“Encore's staff is knowledgeable and friendly with just the right amount of push to encourage the patient through sometimes difficult exercises.”
“Came in with really debilitating sciatic pain and left with my mobility and sleep returned to me. So grateful to Chris and Aaron for all their work with me!”
“Excellent, knowledgeable and committed therapists, able to pace the exercises with my recoveries and have kept me tuned up for years from various aches and pains that come with aging.”
“Kathy and Aaron are clear at explaining everything I need to know about the healing of my knees. They give me really good exercises to do at home that are not overly challenging.”
“She is an amazing PT and person, who listens carefully, has so much knowledge and is incredibly thoughtful in her approach to patients.”
“They got me in quickly when I had an injury and treated the symptoms while treating me as a person. Kathy and Aaron were attentive and adjusted my program as I healed.”
“I felt very good every step of the way from making appointments, talking about my needs and lifestyle, and working with the therapists to come up with my healing plan.”
“What impressed me the most was how she didn’t just focus on temporary relief—she equipped me with practical exercises that I still use to this day to keep my joints moving and muscles strong.”
