Background and training
Tiesha earned her Associate's degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant at Lane Community College, finishing in June 2019, and came to Encore in July 2020.
She takes the position that no two patients arriving for therapy are alike, and she takes the time to treat each one for their individual needs. That fits how the clinic as a whole approaches care, which you can read more about on our About page.
What Tiesha works on with patients
Tiesha treats across the range of conditions the clinic sees, so on a given day her schedule may include post-surgical patients rebuilding strength and range of motion, orthopedic cases working through back, shoulder, or knee problems, and active adults getting back to the sport they left off. Two areas where you're likely to see her:
- Guiding the progressive exercise and hands-on portion of pre- and post-surgery rehabilitation
- Working with patients returning to running, lifting, pickleball, and other activities covered under our sports medicine programs
Tiesha is a true Oregonian and has lived here her entire life. In her free time she enjoys traveling and reading, and she goes on hiking trips with her husband and their dog, Harley.
